All prices are standard minimum for downtown Halifax. Rates depend on date, location, frequency, and any special circumstances. For New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the price is double. Standard show length is 5-15 minutes, if you would like a longer performance, Laura suggests two separate sets to work within your guests' attention span.

The Classic
A timeless crowd-pleaser at every occasion. Popular at birthday parties, anniversaries, corporate events and more. This exciting show includes a sweeping and elegant veil entrance number, upbeat dancing, audience participation and a climactic drum solo. Can be performed as a solo or with two dancers, featuring both duet and solo pieces.

The Girls Night
A fun introductory class to any size group of women, this is a smash hit at bachelorettes, baby showers, birthdays or just for fun. Choose from a 15-minute show with a 45 minute lesson, or simply an hour lesson. Hip-scarves are provided to borrow, and are also available for purchase.

The Perfect Wedding
Bellydance is a traditional part of Arabic weddings, and is said to bring good luck, abundance and prosperity to the happy couple. This joyful show includes a sweeping veil entrance number, exciting props, upbeat dancing and getting the bride, groom and guests up to dance! This is your day, so please let us know any requests for costuming, props, music selection, etc. Can be performed as a solo, or with two or more dancers for an opulent extravaganza! Let us wow you with dramatic props like shamadan (candelabra) veils, swords, and more!

Zeffah
A Zeffah is a traditional wedding procession where the bellydancer once led the bride and groom to the wedding chamber, bringing them luck and fertility. Today the dancer leads the couple (and often the whole wedding party) dramatically into the reception hall, playing finger cymbals and wearing a sparkling Shamadan (candelabra) on her head. This can be as simple as one dancer, or include the entire wedding party and numerous dancers.

The Restaurant/Nightclub
Looking to stand out from the crowd and really wow your guests? Restaurants and nightclubs offering a weekly show of at least 4 weeks get a special rate! This exciting show includes all the elements of The Classic performance, including pulling up guests to show off for their friends. Let Laura work with you to match her music, dance style, and costuming to your unique establishment to create the perfect atmosphere. Laura can also arrange different dancers each week if it's variety you're after.

Details
To book Laura, please read the details in the Sample Contract carefully, to see what you can expect from the performer, and what is required from you for a performance. Then send her an email or call (902 412 8823) requesting availability and bringing up any questions you may have. Please include details of your event such as location, date and time, special occasion, type of venue, audience background (e.g. Turkish, Persian, Canadian etc, this helps in choosing appropriate music and dance style), and how many guests are expected. Please include any other details on the general feel of the event.
