In some cases, lateness may result in a shorter show or constitute a breach of contract on the part of the client if the dancer needs to leave to attend another performance. g) It is important to pay the artist in a timely manner. Please pay the performer when she arrives to avoid complications. This means she can slip out after her performance, saving you time and allowing you to relax and enjoy your event. Often for weddings, payment is left with either the wedding planner or the DJ so that the bride and groom will not be disturbed with this detail. h) A private, locking room will be provided for the performer to change clothes and to store her bags while performing. The space must be available to the performer immediately after her show. A public washroom is not suitable for this purpose. i) Dancers are present for performance purposes only. Social interaction before or after with the audience is not encouraged. Professional dancers avoid fraternizing with clients and guests when not performing as this ruins the mystique of the dancer! Laura will often have other shows or commitments immediately after, and appreciates your understanding in this matter. j) A functioning stereo that can play burned CD's and will fill the room with sound. A small "boom-box" is NOT sufficient and will not provide the dancer or event with enough ambience or energy.
